Versatile Jacket...

Have been using this Filson raincoat for many years. Light enough for summer rain storms, but really came in handy during a trip to Alaska in 2012, and a recent trip to Yosemite Valley in mid-April. Roomy enough for a heavy sweater or blazer/sport coat underneath. Use it frequently for business travel, when I know rain or snow is the forecast. The body does provide space for layering as I mentioned earlier but the arms are a bit tight, which kind of counteracts the layering ability. Oh well still a great jacket and I will buy again when this wears out
