Worn these boots for approx. 5 years, four of which was Law Enforcement duty and the last year as solid boot for wear while I ride my Harley. Comfortable, great leather, long wearing sole. Will definitely buy again.

Bates boots last...

Vary good boot the Bates 2184 took a little time to brake in unlike some of to days boot that are soft the first day the Bates are a tough boot. I have had them a year and a half now and the boots are like leather socks on my feet or you could say (fits like a glove) and the soles are holding up vary well too. I do miles and miles of artifact hunting a year and the boot are awesome.

I bought a pair of your great boots ill keep buying them. had one serious problem my sole on my right foot just let go, i mean just split apart running down a tier, I am in corrections had to respond I am buying a new pair

I just received my jump boots today. I tore open the packaging and put them on. I was really pleased at the fit and the shineabilty of the leather. I needed boots that would spit shine and these will really come to a nice shine. The boots came alot sooner than expected. What a great company to do business with. This is just one of many orders. I don't write many reviews but the service was out standing. Thanks guys n galls.

Shipping was really fast - made it to me in less than a week and in time for me to wear during a uniform inspection weekend. Great boot for military and law enforcement - really comfortable for all day wear. I wear them for my LE job all the time and they have held up well so far. Size was just about right, maybe a little large, but they fit perfect with boot socks on. I got a great shine on the toe and heel very quickly. Highly recommend these boots.

Excellent motorcycle boots. Easy to get on and off after a fulls days ride. Extremely strurdy as well. I took a spill last year and although I fractured my tibia, if it weren't for these boots, the damage would have been MUCH worse. Protected my skin and worse damage to the leg!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS. I will NEVER buy any other kind. I am in the fire and EMS service so I put them through it all. May last pair lasted 5 yrs. Very well made and worth every penny.

BEST DAMN BOOT EVER! I just ordered my second pair. My first pair has lasted for over 6 years of daily use and the sole just started to separate from the uppers. Buy these or you will be dissappointed

everything about this boot is fantastic, i love it, they're comfortable, especially for what they are, and are sturdy. i use them for work and to go out and what not, i'm not in a combat field, so i cannot comment on that aspect, but as far as sturdiness and comfort they work for me. my feet also need a little more rigidity, and they definately provide that. not much else really to say other than i love my boots.

This is the second pair of these my husband has owned. He wears them no less than 5 days a week, standing and pivoting no less than 8 hours each day on them. They have lasted for over 1 year. The spit shine look of the toe is great. The wearibility for the long hours is a blessing. The sole does not slip on snow and ice and with the high top keeps the ankle supported nicely. The size runs true with still room if you need to add a heavier sock for colder weather. The laceup look with the ease of the side zip for easy on-off is great. Don't stop making these. Also, your price is nice in comparison to other companies. Your delivery was also very quick

Its a good tough boot. Its also a Corcoran Military copy. I own the bates and the corcoran original boot. The corcoran fit better, look better and is a better boot. I got the bates because of the good grip lug sole for motorcycling. I didnt know until later that Corcoran also made the original in a lug sole which I will get when the bates wears out. Lord knows motorcycling is hard on boots.
