Durable and Waterproof...

When I bought a Hi Tec rain jacket for myself, I liked it so much that I bought this one for my wife. She wanted a lightweight waterproof jacket that she could throw on when it was dreary or raining outside, but which wouldn't add too much extra warmth or be too heavy. And much like I was with mine, she has been very pleased. The outer shell is very waterproof, and the inner material insulates without heating her up too much (the underarm ventilation really helps). It's a very high quality jacket that does what it's made to do and does it well. Although they're a little more expensive than some other brands' rain jackets, the quality makes Hi Tec jackets well worth the price and after having bought two now, I highly recommend them.
