Great for holding...

The Pelican black padded and waterproof hard case is incredibly rugged. I bought this after the last time I dropped my iPad and shattered the screen, rendering it completely useless. My next iPad is protected by this case but only when I carry it around. I would highly recommend not keeping your iPad in this case to surf the web or play games as it is more of a carry case. If I'm traveling, I put my iPad in this case in my carry-on as to not damage any component of it. If I take my iPad out for entertainment, I usually transfer it to a different case for longer periods.
