not for heavy duty use...

Despite what the description says, the cleats are not replaceable. These work well for occasional use on an icy sidewalk, but they're not intended for more serious use such as hiking, etc. They're a bit slippery on indoor flooring, so be prepared to take them off when you walk into the grocery store.
