Great boots and the gore-tex really helps...

These Danner boots have been through a lot. I inherited these boots from my brother and they have been through everything and have help up fantastically. I still wear them every year hunting for the past 3 years and he wore them the previous 4 of that and still no problems with waterproof ability or any puncturing. It is surprising honestly how well they have held up and it seems they will be able to hold for quite some time as well. I cannot reccomend these enough as both a hunting boot, hiking boot, or even work boot (minus the steel toe).
