Gets the job done...

Ignoring price altogether, this smallest of the Rescue series by Spyderco just has it right. The only problem it has is that it is almost too ubiquitous, getting the job done without flash. Incredibly light, you will not feel its presence until you need it; then it will cut virtually anything with ease, while having an impressive lockup. Its only competition is Gerber's 22-41830 EAB, which cannot handle the serious tasks as well, but is still another must have, just because it folds up so compactly.
