These socks worked great for me. I work on cell towers off Lake Michigan were the wind can whip right through you. I use a liner (I think it is the coolmax one) and that helps too. Got to keep your skin dry or you will freeze. Thanks!

Sub-Zero socks are a must...

Anyone who lives or works in cold weather should have a pair of sub-zero socks in their closet. I have about 10 pairs and I wear all of them. Sometimes I notice that my feet even get a little too warm in them but they are always comfortable. I have two pairs of these Wigwam sock (style F7715) and I think they are my favorite. Some wool socks are itchy and hard to wear throughout the day but I didn't find that problem with these. I am actually on here right now to buy another couple pairs. I want one pair for every day of my work week. I find that they keep my feet at the perfect temperature. They are also nice not only for work but just doing simple things like shoveling my extremely long driveway in. Really versatile and easy to wear. 5 stars is a definite.
