Great, when they hold together...

Great shoes, but choose wisely. I've had to exchange several pairs after only a few months, for two main reasons: some develop noisy heel squeaks, and the soles have a tendency to split open under the ball of the foot! There must be a seam or weak point here, as I have never seen this occur in other shoes.

I AM ON MY SECOND PAIR.THE FIRST PAIR WAS GREAT,I STILL WEAR THEM. BUT,THE SECOND PAIR ARE VIRTUALLY UN WEARABLE. THEY PINCH MY BIG TOE ON MY LEFT FOOT SO BADLY I CAN BARELY WALK AFTER 8 HOURS AT WORK.

These shoes have no friction to wet flooring like concrete, checkered plate or walkway grating.
They are absolutely treacherous. The ANSI approval is for the steel toe only.

I have had 4-5 pairs of these shoes...

I have had 4-5 pairs of these shoes and love them. I am a furniture mover and I put my shoes through all types of hell. I have tried the Catapillar, nautilus, Carhart, and Wolverines. None hold up like these. I get about a year out of each pair. Not too heavy (not light either). but they move great with my feet and keep their traction for the ramps even in the rain. Great shoe.

I've owned these shoes for about 2 or 3 years while working in a fairly oily/dirty machine shop and I have to say that they outperformed any high dollar boots that I've ever owned. The traction was great and the comfort was as good as it gets.
