ROOFING BOOTS...

WHOEVER SAID THESE BOOTS ARE NOT GOOD ON A STEEP ROOF YOUR OUT OF YOUR GORD WITH THESE BOOTS I CAN RUN UP AND DOWN A 9/12 10/12 AND I CAN RUN STRAIGHT UP AN 11/12 OR 12/12 THESE BOOTS ARE THE GREATEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ROOFERS I HAVE BEEN WEARING THEM FOR 11 YEARS AND BESIDES BEING COMFORTABLE AND STICKING TO THE ROOF LIKE NO OTHER THEY LAST ME THREE YEARS OR SO THEY ARE A GREAT INVESTMENT TRUST ME AND MY SEVEN CO WORKERS THAT WEAR THEM AND WALK ALL OVER STEEP ROOFS EVBERYDAY AND THEY PREVENT NAILS FROM GOING INTO YOUR FEET THATS A BIG PLUS P.S. THANKS THROUGHGOOD

Last longer than any other boot out there for this trade. They last me about 1-2 years

might look funny, but is good on roofs...

I been building houses for years and have many different kinds of work boots. I got these a few months ago and was very satisfied with the fit and the way they felt on the roofing projects. I felt very secure with them on.

I have been roofing for 30 years and...

I have been roofing for 30 years and I have been wearing Cougar Paws for about 6 years.I have never been satisfied with the quality of Cougar Paws. They stretch and get bigger the more I wear them. The Thorogood boots looked better so I bought them. They are very well made but the soles are much too slick for use on a steep roof. I wore them on a 9/12 pitch and I was not able to walk on the roof at all. I had to come down and put on my old Cougar Paws. I still like the boots and I will wear them sometimes but not for roofing.

you refer to these boots like the Lil...

you refer to these boots like the Lil abners of the seventies however they are not the same. originally Lil Abners had hooks that crisscrossed on the first 3-4 eyelets.
