I've had 2 pair of these boots which...

I've had 2 pair of these boots which I wore on duty as a paramedic. My first pair lasted 12 years and counting. My most recent pair barely made 2 years though. The leather seperated from the sole near the arch. Only complaint- both pairs developed cracks then wear holes at the bend just in front of the base of the uppers/ toe attachment.

Very well made old school boot. Very cool zipper closing option. Stiff at first but once broken in its like an old friend. Ive had this boot for 3 years. The only issue being fully leather lined eventually came apart at the heel. Chippewa has a unique service that will essentially rebuild the entire boot inside 'n out for $90. When you get it back its like new!
