Quality but wasn't my style...

I bought my Filson 10041 CH non-fitted jacket a size down one from recommended size. When I was picking between the single and the down mackinaw's I chose the single over this double as I did not find the extra layer of wool necessary on the top block. The coat itself is quite waterproofed with just the single layer and do not like the added weight of the extra layer. This is also why I prefer the single over both the double and the cape coat. It all depends on what you are thinking about using it for. Mine is really for outdoors stuff (hunting, hiking) but not work. If it was for work, I would probably think twice about which I prefer.

The styling of this coat is excellent. The extra layer (cape) is great for those times you get caught in the rain, it keeps your back dry.
