Nice work boots...

I like wearing cowboy boots problem is I am very hard on boots just after 2 weeks the steel is already exposed on the toes of these boots but thats my fault I don't really care that the steel is showing but they really hold up well I wear them on the jobsite and all guys are still commenting them even though they look the way they do Worn and Dirty THANKS DH

Nice look boot that offers good toe protection....

Nice look boot that offers good toe protection. Size 11 seemed a bit tight compared to the other size 11 Double H boots that I own. They are tight in the toe where the steel insert is. Maybe try a half size bigger next time. A quality boot from a quality manufacturer.

Husband on feet all night!...

Bought first pair of these cowboy boots for my husband 6 years ago...fit and held up so well that now ordering his 3rd pair of Double H 2307 cow boy boots. He only wears cowboy boots so these really get a workout. He walks on concret at work~manufacturing job. He loves the fit and the feel. Tried other boots/brands but heels wore down so quickly and the toe would start to show the steel with little abuse. Amazing how good the heels have held up. And the toe held out longer than we expected~started showing through after about a year of him abusing them.

I purchashed the 2307 in 2004. I initially had a primary desk job where I work. The I started working as a supervisor and did a lot of walking on a lot of different surfaces. The boots were very comfortable, durable and held up great. I actually went through 3 sets of heals and replaced the soles once. I am definitly looking at purchasing another pair.

Double H has revised their policy...

Like Bruce I bought my boots about the same time. The same thing happened to my boots cracking at the uppers, Megan at customer support did not require me to take them to a store, however, I did have to pay the return shipping expense. I have been wearing HH boots for years and advise all my new employees to try HH first. This is the only trouble I have had with Their boots.

I have been wearing Double H work boots for years. I have found them to be the best western work boot ever. The steel toed boots held up for a couple of years and I am very hard on boots. I will be buying this brand again.

I don't walk a lot in these boot....

I don't walk a lot in these boot. I bought them for riding a motor cycle 20 miles to work each day and supervising job sites that require steel toe boots. I'm not hard on boots. The Double H 2307 cracked and separated at the seam between the upper and lower leather both in front and back. I purchased these boots on-line (not from here). When I complained to Double H via e-mail, they said I would have to go to a store that sells Double H and have them send the boots back for inspection. I do not live close to a Double H store. When I called and inquired at a store, they said I would have to pay shipping because I didn't buy them at their store. All totaled, time, gas, shipping and the lack of Double H supporting on-line purchases - I'm looking for another boot manufacturer.
