Approved by the Army...

My roommate is in army ROTC through college and was recently issued these 5.11 Tactical boots in the khaki desert color for training. He was very excited to receive the replacement to his old boots as these are much better quality and warmth as well as comfort. 5.11 is a well respected brand and is used by the police force as well as our military. As far as the boot goes he is exceedingly happy with these Army boots and complains about how poor the quality of his old boot were in comparison. If you are looking for good boots that stand up to army regulations look no further these are the boots for you.
