works as a camping / picnic blanket...

I bought one of these Port and Company fleece blankets with a strap for a weekend backpacking trip. I needed a blanket that I would be able to strap to the outside of my backpack since my sleeping bag was not rated for the temperature. This was not the most ideal setup, but it did the trick!
The blanket is no different than the average fleece blanket. It's relatively soft and lightweight. The straps worked perfectly for attaching to the exterior of my bag.
I have since used this blanket mainly as a blanket at the foot of my bed, and for picnics.
