These are very comfortable boots. They are lightweight...

These are very comfortable boots. They are lightweight, and have sufficient padding that you never notice the metatarsal guard. They are also quite durable. I work in a chemical plant and often get acid on my feet, and these still last a year even under such harsh conditions. I am on my second pair now, and will buy a third when the current pair wears out. The only downside is that all the padding makes them a bit hot in the summer. But it's a small price to pay for comfort. Highly recommended!

I go hiking every weekend and it's hard to...

I go hiking every weekend and it's hard to find a pair of boots that are comfortable the whole time. I tried out these Thorogood 504-4312 boots about six months ago and I will never wear another pair. Pure comfort. And the durable rubber sole is a huge plus.

Overall a wonderful pair of Thorogood Hiking boots. I wear mine hiking, to work, and just about anywhere else I go. They are so comfortable. I love the padded leather collar, my ankles are even comfortable.

These are the most comfortable boots I have had in the 13 years. I wear met guard boots now, and I find them with great. I have just a few more years till retirement.

For me these boots have been a foot saver. They are most comfortable and easy to break in. I don't notice the met guard at all.
