Broke very quickly...
By: brianeugne
These broke the third time that I used them. My guess is that they are not meant to be used in mixed city conditions i.e. walking on patches of ice and patches of bare concrete. If it were freshly fallen snow, they might have lasted longer. As it stands, I upgraded to the more expensive Stabilicers original snow cleats and have not looked back.

Life savers. Literally....
By: Eric
Have you ever slipped on an icy sidewalk, bruised your tailbone, and slid dangerously toward oncoming traffic, watching your life pass before your eyes as you did, in the end barely using your flailing arms to build traction to keep you from getting hit by oncoming cars? Well...uh...neither have I. But I damn sure haven't had that problem since I started relying on Yak Trax in the winter time. Solid grip. Easy to slip over most shoes. Keeps you from busting your tail on those days when your boots aren't gripping for whatever reason (gotta get them resoled).

Fantastic product, two lovely Indiana winters underfoot with Yak Trax and still on my feet. I highly recommend to anyone not wanting a sore rear end from falling!

SLIP FREE!...
By: freedomfratter227
I bought the Yak Trax Walker spikeless shoe covers as a cheap alternative to my regular spikes. And I have to say, for $20, these are great. I would recommend spikes if you can get them, but if not-for whatever reason you need spikeless-GET THESE! These were the best investment as they have saved my body from many falls on ice.

no slipping!!!...
By: unclebill
As an ice fisher, this product is great for a sport I love. Ever stepped out onto the smooth black ice on a windy day? Its like you're nearly parasailing when the wind starts pushing you and your equipment around. Yak trax help keep me grounded and stable. I haven't used this much off the ice as my boots have pretty good tread, but I would trust them in a heartbeat if I were worried about slipping and falling on my rear!

No more slipping with these...
By: OpieC
I purchased these ahead of a winter storm and they proved to worth the $20 I spent on them. They slip effortlessly over your shoes, whether they are sneakers, work boots, or dress shoes. They work great on icy and snow covered walkways, roadways and streets, but don't hold up too long if walking on clear pavement or concrete for an extended period. If you want to save your dignity and a sore bottom, then get you a pair now.
