I first chose muck boots after developing plantar fasciitis (I was spending a lot of time on my feet at work including hours on a concrete barn floor). The boots provide immediate relief and over a period of several months, the fasciiits resolved. I can wear these boots all day and not think about my feet. The bonus is that they keep my feet warm and dry on the coldest winter days. They also clean up easy.
One down side is that they are a bit heavier than standard rubber boots but it doesn't take long to adjust to that. The only other issue I had was that after about a year with my first pair, the rubber wore out where my inner ankle bends. The boots are still good but they are no longer water proof. Even with that, I highly recommend these . They are worth the investment. I'm on my second pair and will never buy any other work boots. Ladies just order a size down.

DO NOT BUY!!!...
Buyer beware...my boots are 16 months old & are falling apart! I was shocked when I saw the soles separating from the uppers as I have worn these boots very few times since purchasing. They have been in a bit of mud & snow, but rinsed off after each use & stored in a climate-controlled garage. They have not been exposed to any sort of chemical whatsoever. The rubber is also cracking like it's been exposed to 5 years of direct sunlight!!! I contacted Honeywell (parent company) via email & received a rather curt response that since the boots were out of warranty (12 months) there was nothing they could do for me. I researched this issue on the web & found that it is a common problem that the company refuses to acknowledge & merely suggests that one purchase AQUASEAL & repair the boots themselves. My second email to customer service resulted in another curt response which stated that "since my boots are over 2 years old, there is nothing they can do." Since when does 16 months equate to "over 2 years old"???!!! I try so hard to "buy American", but this is what I get in return.
