Best boot I've ever had for the price...
By: James L.
Love Them!
I am purchasing my second pair now. I have worked in construction - up and down scaffolding & ladders on concrete floors all day- for 20 years now. I have 3 broken sesamoid bones in my feet from the years of abuse and now have to wear custom orthotics. Needless to say, I have had to take my footwear pretty seriously. The T_Pro boot is the only shoe that keeps me on my feet for an extended period of time without pain or fatigue. They needed virtually no "break-in" time, provide excellent traction & protection and lasted about 2.5 yrs- basically they just wore @ the tread/sole and the inside fabric around the heals. Breath-ability is okay for a full boot- the perforated insole helps the airflow some. Overall I cannot recommend this boot enough- It's maintenance for your feet, back, mood...

on my 3rd pair...
By: Mike
What I like about these is they have good traction for when you need to pull things with a pallet jack. No slipping. Also the sole doesnt separate from the shoe if you have to bend down allot on one knee. I drive a semi and I also like that the tread holds up well to the steel steps on the truck. They are a heavy boot, but I find myself putting them on to go to the store and such. Buying the same pair this weekend , they last about a year for me but im hard on them. For a steel toe boot there very comfy.

excellent protection...
By: Avery
This is an excellent shoe providing the protection you need when walking and climbing on rough terrain. My son wore them while working in the mountains of Chili during the summer. It provided all the foot protection needed. I had to return the shoe to Timberland because the stich on the collar of the shoe fell apart. They exchanged it without any problems.

Very comfortable boot...
By: Mike
I'm surprised to hear someone say they are heavy. Obviously they never wore them. I'm 61 and can't be working outdoors all day in heavy boots. Not very good for wet weather, though. I wear heavy waterproof boots for those days. Feet are comfy all day and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair if I manage to wear these out.

Great comfort but heavy...
By: Sandy
These are very comfortable boots and built very strong. But with strength comes weight. Steel toe and puncture resistant sole add to the weight of these things - make them in composite and I'd be sold.

best boots...
By: rickgrant
I am a trash man, and I am in the elements all day long. These Timberland Pro boots are by far the best work boots I have ever owned. I walk and run a lot through out the week, and the tread and and soles in general are great. I have had my last pair for over a year and that is about 6 months longer then any other pair of boots my buds have bought. The boots keep up with the water resistance as long as you take care of them. They are the most comfortable work boots ever. I would recommend these Timberland Pro boots to anyone who wants a great pair.

High recommendation, High disappointment...
By: Jamesp76
I had never woren Timberlands before and these came highly recommended. I wore them for a week and can honestly say they were the most uncomfortable boot/shoe I have ever worn. I work on concrete and steel grating surfaces. The boots rubbed, caused discomfort in my lower back and knees, and the soles were very hard in the cold weather. While some people may like like these boots, they were not for me.

Don't bother with these "soft toe" boots!...
By: mark
Crappy construction in the toe area. Cardboard toe cup crushes, bends, breaks and becomes very uncomfortable on the toes. I've had many pairs of these boots with the safety toe and never had a problem. Mistakenly purchased these, thinking they were safety toe.

Think my quest is over....
By: Jimmy L
Been doing shipyard work for most of my adult life on the waterfront on N.Y harbor. My co-workers and I compare and recommend boots, good and bad. We really work our boots hard .These are as good as they come.Right out of the box.The quality can be seen and felt as soon as you try them on .Have spent good money on Red Wings,Carolina,s Wolverines and more.Am done comparing, will stick with these.

had to return these back to timberland...
By: tom burgess
aside from being a little heavy, all in all these boots were pretty comfortable with one major exception. because they are not insulated there is no cushion between the seams where the leather is sewn and your feet and i got such a huge blister on the back of my heel from working in them for a few days i was walking with a limp for days after retiring them . this should be a concern for timberland to fix this if the want to continue to sell these to working people. my next pair of boots will probably not be timberland.

Not What I had hoped...
By: Rich Lewry
I HAD A PAIR OF THESE BOOTS FOR 2 1/2 YEARS AND LOVED THEM. SO, I ORDERED ANOTHER PAIR. THOUGHT I WAS GETTING THE EXACT SAME BOOT, BUT THE SOLES ARE DIFFERENT. AS JAMESP76 STATED, THEY ARE VERY STIFF IN THE COLD WEATHER, AND BEING IN NEW ENGLAND, WE VE HAD A LOT OF COLD WEATHER. THE LAST PAIR WAS NOT LIKE THIS, THEY WERE MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. AGAIN, I THOUGHT I WAS ORDERING THE "EXACT" SAME BOOT. NOT SURE HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. I HAVE NEVER ORDERED SHOES ON-LINE BEFORE. DON'T KNOW THAT I EVER WILL AGAIN. THERE'S SOMETHING TO BEING ABLE TO TRY THEM ON FIRST.

Great boots for durability...
By: Goingstrong
I work on my hands and knees frequently and end up wearing out the toes of boots long before the rest of the boot. The toe cap on the Timberland boot greatly interested me and it has lived up to my expectations. I was surprised, however, to find the heels are higher than I expected causing me to adjust the way I pick up my feet. Having purchased these boots in May of 2013, I have done everything I can think of to break in the heel counters. Both heels are continually blistered and whenever I am wearing the boots for an extended period of time I place band aids on both heels. After two years of wear, the boots still are holding up great, but I am to the point I will be donating them.
