Love the looks of them. These fit the...

Love the looks of them. These fit the bill for a higher heel so pant hems don't drag in the dirt and so I can look the guys in the eye. Unfortunately have one foot slightly larger than the other - bought the 1/2 size to be snugger on the larger foot than too loose on the smaller foot [note- working persons was great about returns for style/size]. Glad I did since once broke in, they are good for all day, but for a very long time at first could only wear them for a few hours at a time. Have no problems with the zippers after +1 year & they are still looking good. Metal chips do not embed in sole. Heels/soles have not worn out on concrete but are still flat and treaded.

Much better looking from the ordinary steel toe shoes. Comfort, they could use more cushion. Feet and legs are very tired at the end of the day.

After time, the zipper loses its staying power...

After time, the zipper loses its staying power and constantly comes down on its own. I would suggest the slip-on style. The toe is very square, which over time caused me to have bunions. No cushioning in this shoe, either. Looks good for steel toes, but not for comfort.

Gail must have bought the wrong size, because I'm really pleased with the comfort. I wear them at work six days a week. Nice work shoe and looks good with jeans too.
