I work in a garage with some pretty harsh chemicals in thw rok areasand I usually wear through a pair of boots in less than a year. These boots have been going well over a year with no sign of falling apart yet. One of the eyelets did pop out but I crazy glue it back in every few months, no biggie. I'd buy them again.

Has Been A Good {but not great} Work Shoe...

Got these for the composite toe and the extra heel & toe protection.
At work I kick, push and support stuff with my shoes alot so having extra heel and toe protection is almost a must.
Grip and traction is not great.
These shoes can slide on smooth concrete when leaning with or pulling/pushing a load.
I do need to slide sometimes so this isn't all bad.
The laces stay tied.
The lace eyelets are plastic.
A couple of the eyelets came out after a week of wear.
The eyeletless hole will eventually stretch and break thru but it has a row of triple stitching to pull thru so hopefully these will last a while.

I prefer composite because it's easier on the feet and it doesn't set off metal detectors and security scanners.

A couple of the eyelets came out after a week of wear so now it's just the hole in the leather. The eyelet hole will eventually stretch & break thru but it has a row of triple stitching to stretch thru before that happens so hopefully they will last a while.
