Love the shoes - I can wear them...

Love the shoes - I can wear them for long periods of time without blisters, pinched toes, or noticable discomfort.
I also like the composite since I have to pass through 2 sets of metal detectors to get into work.
The slip-on is a great help since I only need safety shoes on when responding to emergencies ... it's so much faster to just slip them on and run.
Wish there was a version with the ankle protection, too - the general workforce are required to have the ankle-high boot, so these shoes aren't an option. Any chance there's another version coming with hook & loop closure and ankle coverage???

I have worked sixty hour weeks in these...

I have worked sixty hour weeks in these shoes for nine monthes and for the first time my feet are starting to get sore. That is why I am back to buy a new pair. Typically speaking I couldn't wait to get my shoes off, these made me forget I was wearing safety shoes. I work on my knees a lot so the elastic stretched out after a couple monthes but it did not compromise the comfort. Loading on my knees also damages the toes but it is nice that it is not shiny metal sticking out. I have a wide foot and they are built wide enough for me. I am very hard on shoes but these have stood the test of long hours of too much time on my feet. No need to change your shoes after work due to sore feet, which I used to look forward to...now I just simply slip them off at home.

I am a middle age day care provider...

I am a middle age day care provider and have very sore feet. THe little ones were always steping on my toes, giving me horrible pain. My husband suggested I get a safety toed shoe. He was right, I no longer have to worry about my toes getting steped on. I enjoy the day so much better now that I am not in pain so much. Nice shoes.
