I work in the oil and gas drilling...

I work in the oil and gas drilling industry and these are without doubt the most comfortable boots I have owned.I have to provide 24hr cover and can spend literally hours on my feet. A recent job in the mountains of Italy saw blizzards and temps. of -20C. Cold feet? Nope! Treated with a proofing agent they are waterpfoof too and the Vibram sole is showing almost no sign of wear after 6 months of use in serious conditions.I have worn them twice on jobs in India where the temp. reached 40C and they remained totally comfortable worn with a pair of lightweight socks. A brilliant boot. Top marks to Wolverine for a well designed and manufactured product.I can recommend them without reservation and am about to order a spare pair.You would be unlikely to be disappointed with these boots. Unless you were an elk.
