Good, but not durable...

These socks are super comfortable out of the package! They have nice padding and hit that spot between thick and thin. To their benefit, they do feel very nice and I really did enjoy wearing them when they were newer.
However, after about half a year they started wearing out a LOT in the bottom, definitely more than a normal sock would. I no longer wear the 5.11 socks because they are at the point that I feel they'd rip if I wore them any more. If you need a pack of socks that looks and feels good on, but aren't necessarily looking for longevity these are great, however don't expect them to last long. I'd spend a bit more and look at some other brands.
