I work in a fishery in Maine. These pants are great for keeping me dry, and comfortable. They stand up good to a hard day of work. It was easy to order with this company. Fast too.

I work in a metal shop an these are the only style of pants that I'll buy to work in. They come in two colors (the black and the traditional tan/brown color). I like the black better because they show the greasy dirt less and you can't tell if they are stained. Besides the heavy canvas material and the riveted construction my favorite features are the double layered fronts and the tool pocket on the right leg. I keep my cell phone in the tool pocket and it is well protected from smashing and never falls out even when driving or out-of-position welding. These are the most durable pants you'll find made from cotton.

I've been wearing these work pants for 15 years. I'm just now about to purchase my 3rd go around. I wear them everyday and work in them both as a carpenter and welder. They last and last and last. Expect to get about 5-7 years out of a pair.

I personaly think that these pants are very good and extremely tough. the seems and rivets in the pants are incredibly tough for there price. Carharrt would be my first choice if you want incredibly rugged pants.

I am a carpenter and a motorcyclist. These pants are the toughest I've found for work. They have a particular type of stiffness in the fabric so that on hot days they don't cling to my legs like Levis can, so in spite of being heavier and the double front, they are cooler on hot days and warmer on cold days.
The double front acts as an extra wind break when on the motorcycle and offers more protection in a crash. There is even room to wear them over my knee and shin armor.
The little side pockets are great, I keep the mobile phone in one and reading glasses in the other.
