Glad I got the Filson Machinaw wool Cruiser 10043 Coat. In need of a warm, winter coat, I hemmed and hawed about whether or not I wanted to spend almost $300 on a coat. I finally pulled the trigger and am glad I did. This coat works well out in the field or working outside. The multiple front pockets provide plenty of space to carry everything I need, and the large map pocket in the back is not only another layer of wool for warmth, but also a good place for me to carry a warm hat and gloves for when I need them.
I got this in charcoal, which is a lot darker than it appears in most pictures online. But the color works extremely well for settings where I need to dress up.
