excellent boots...

I bought a pair of g8188 georgia boots 6 years ago and I am still wearing them today. In my honest opinion they beat Redwings hands down in comfort,price, and durability.

I bought a pair of the waterproof,insulated,8 in. Georgia Boots to wear in the massive underground (U.M.W.A) Harris coal mine in Boone Co.,West Virginia and as a union fireboss I walk at least 5 miles a night 300+ ft. underground through some of the worst conditions anywhere. In 27 years at 4 different Eastern Coal Corp. mines these are the best boots I've ever worn. Thanks for making my job more bearable and comfortable. Comfort is a hard thing to find in coal mining.
