Comfort, Fit, Finish all A+...

I decided this year to buy American wherever I can. I am so happy to have found this shoe company where the end result was a shoe with comfort ,looked good and so far is good. My real and final rating will obviously be at the end of the shoes lifetime, and my expections are for a long and good life.

Best safety-toe Oxford shoe in the market !...

My first pair of Thorogood Shoes, comfortable, steel-toe shoe, well made in the USA ! Rugged enough for outdoor & field use, around the shop or office. (Doesn't feel like a steel toe safety shoe)

I'm real happy about finding your website. I bought Thorogood oxfords about 2-3 years ago and was under the impression that the store I bought them from wouldn't stock them anymore. Bottom line I wanted to buy american made shoes and these oxfords were comfortable and they lasted.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. The leather is very soft and they are much lighter than I would have expected from a steel toe. I wear them even when I'm not at work. A great all purpose nice looking shoe. There is no reason to buy imported shoes when American companies like Thorogood are producing such quality shoes at an affordable price.

Why can't shoe companies standardize width!...

I was really excited to find an American made work shoe. I had been using a very comfortable Florsheim in the past but had decided to by American this round. The Thorogood shoes initial quality looked very good. As soon as I put them on my feet I knew there was going to be a problem. Even in wide width I could not even lace them up. This is one of the narrowest shoes I have ever tried on. I would have gladly paid more for an American made shoe, but to my disappointment I will be going back to the Florsheim (good quality but made overseas).
In conclusion if you have wide flat feet I recommend Florsheim work shoes, and New Balance 992 (still American) tennis shoes. These Thorogood shoes would be of great quality to someone who had narrower feet, my feet just didn't fit.
