These are the best boots for long days in the shop...
By: Greg
I am a professional woodworker and spend most of my days standing on concrete. I've tried all kind of combinations of boots/sneakers/insoles and these are by far the most comfortable solution that I've found. In the past I've had work shoes and boots that feel very comfortable on my feet but leave my knees and back aching at the end of a long day, not so with my Blundstones boots. They do take a bit of breaking in because there are no laces but after the first week or so they have been great.
They are really light for steel toes and are somewhat breathable, not as breathable as sneakers but my feet don't get too hot even after spending 8+ hours in the boots.
I've had these 172 Blundstone boots for almost a year and they're still in great shape. Other than a coating of sawdust they're as good as the day that I bought them.
They were a bit pricier than some of the other boots that I looked at but the small difference in price is more than made up for with the comfort and durability of these boots.
Can't say enough good things. I love these boots!
