Great boots!...

I just bought a pair of theses boots at a local mom & pop shoe store. It's my third pair and I love then. Cost including tax, no shipping required, was $97.60. Then they threw in a can of polish and if there is any kind of problem, they take care of it personally. I was stupid enough to order the first pair from "Working Persons Store". I should have ordered this last pair from "Working Persons Store" and got the extra 20% off. That would have made my cost only $72.80. Now that would have been a good deal! These prices are no bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought the Bates 2261 boots for a stint...

Bought the Bates 2261 boots for a stint with the Colorado Parks Dept for the summer and have had nothing but problems. First, the zipper pull tab broke making it impossible to use. I shipped them back home to have them returned to the store where purchased, they credited me for that pair and another pair was purchased. Wore them 2 months and the stitching came apart at the base of the zipper. And, they aren't that comfortable of a boot anyway. I'm soured on Bates products and I can't find a phone number for Bates directly, to call them with my problems.

I just got a pair of theses boots and they are GREAT ,the only proublem is i paid way to much, you see i didnot get them at the working person store but some where else and i paid way to much! The boots are some of the best i have ever had. They are light weight yet you know you have all the support you will need. Right out of the box they feel like slippers ,and like i said, you really know you have one fine boot of your feet. Your feet are well protected and above all comfortiable.Theses boot are a GREAT BUY,but make sure you buy them here at the working person or you like i will have paid too much! john lewis

These are one great boot,they are comfortable form...

These are one great boot,they are comfortable form fitting(once broke in),light weight, durable, easy and fast to get on(side zipper). The only thing I personally don't like and would like different is the zipper to be bigger to hold and pull up on. Lastly, let's not forget the great price and free shipping and guarantees here at
