Impressive...
By: Cole
My first pair of 5258's, perfect sz 11 fit and excellent support- very firm- but feel like slippers.....which is great. I used to wear a competitor's equivalent boot but those folks over at Rocky decided to get trendy and cute with appearance, and ruined a great boot- cheaper construction..(plastic eyelets? tennis shoe laces?...come on now ! ), and tread design (a deck shoe has a better grip), too bad for them. GR will get my $ from now on. These 5258's have excellent deep grip, they're light, and keep a " just right temp ", not too hot. Looking forward to using these throughout this coming winter. The safety toe ads even more piece of mind. Please keep the black color, those of us in EMS need these for work. I recommend these for anyone working in or otherwise spending a good amount of time outdoors, where thermal and mechanical protection, traction, support, and comfort are a must.

These work boot are great nice and warm and very comfortable...
By: stunnell
Great purchase and super warm I work outdoors and these boots are extremely comfortable would recommend them to anybody who wants comfort and warmth all day. And the traction is outstanding and the composition toe makes the boot lighter than steel and is also warmer and when it does get cold I'd doesn't take it long to heat back up.

I work with wind turbines, and this boot...
By: Paul the Wind Turbine Tech
I work with wind turbines, and this boot has the combo of features I'm looking for: composite toe, EH rating, warm, moderate price, warm, tough construction, light. Not very many boots meet all of those criteria, unfortunately. A few expensive pac boots almost hit the mark, but cost $40+ more & they're HEAVY. I'm very please with the GR's weight & rugged construction. Weight is not much more than full-leather, non insulated boots (about 4lbs for the pair give or take). Only minus is that they're a little stiff and bulky around the ankles (insulation!).
GR, please don't discontinue this model!

I work out side 75% of the time....
By: Gordon Yorgovan
I work out side 75% of the time. I have used the same boots for two years almost every day, in the cold and wet of Canada and Denver in winter they have kept my feet warm and dry, In the heat of summer they have kept me from doing the hot asphalt dance and have remained comfortable. I also wear them while riding a motorcycle. The only down side is they are a bit heavy, ordering a new pair now, sole is starting to wear and want the fresh grip/traction for the winter.
