Most Durable...

I have used these boots for about 10 years now, yes they take a little time to break in . My current pair I have been wearing now for over a year and a half and am just now sensing support break down. I definitely will get another pair. I keep the old ones for doing chores around the house and wood cutting until I cannot wear them any more.

Outstanding!...

I have owned these boots going on 7yrs now, used 5 days/week, and they are still in wonderful shape! Soles still have about 30% tread left, and the leather hasn't even worn down to the steel insert. Hands down the best bang for your buck!

Great Boot!...

I'm a route driver for UD Foodservice. We walk between 2-3 miles a day making our deliveries. I needed a boot that provides slip resistance, abrasion resistance and comfort. This is one sturdy boot. The off set eyelet eliminates heel movement in the boot and the padded collar and tongue adds to comfort. WPS is good on there word also, I found the same boot at a lessor price and they honored there 120% price guarantee. I'll continue to shop here for my work boots and probably other products.

Good Boots...

I was somewhat apprehensive about buying boots, without trying them on first. My nine year old Ariat's wore through the sole, and I needed a replacement. A comparable pair of Ariats are about $180.00. These were a little stiff when I got them. Having worn boots for a while, I suspect these are bull hide judging by the thickness of the leather. Now after two weeks, I can slip them onto my feet without even touching the boot. I like the more rounded toe, and it provides a little added wiggle room for my toes. The tops and sides are still a bit stiff, but I think this too shall pass. When I look at the value compared to other boots, this one is a winner.

I've gone through about 6 pairs of these...

I've gone through about 6 pairs of these in the last 5 or 6 years. They last me about 6-7 months which is remarkable for the line of work I'm in. I'm a machinist and am constantly walking on metal shavings/chips and oil. I try something new every now and then but always come back to the Pit Boss.

I have bought many different brands of boots at varying prices. I'm on concrete 12 hrs a day and these are best of all that I have purchased. Very light and durable, and look good. I did buy boot socks that I wear with these boots, and they really help. Size is a true fit.

These boots last forever! As a welder I used to go through boots about every 6 to 9 months before the heals were worn lopsided and the toe was wearing through. I wore these boots hard daily for 3 months before the soles showed the slightest bit of ware! After a year and a half they are still solid enough to use daily. They are sturdy with great traction and very comfortable!

Well, I hate to say it, but these are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned.
I have had them for about two weeks now, and I have worn them to work (I'm a truck driver)
five times. My feet are still killing me after wearing them. When I get out of the big truck after driving for several hours and start walking, the pain is terrible. I have never owned any boots that have taken more than a couple of days to break in. I hope these break in eventually. Maybe I just got a poorly constructed pair. I wish I had never forked out the hard earned money for these boots... I just may have to go shopping for another pair of work boots and throw these things in the trash can.

another durable hiking boot...

These are truly waterproof! I hiked through mud, snow, and water and my feet stayed completely dry! When I first put them on, I thought they were comfortable but needed breaking in. But I went on a five mile hike and I had no blisters so they weren't too stiff! They offer great traction, even on muddy, wet, and leaf-covered hills!my feet stayed warm in mid-30s day but never got hot. I believe I will be able to wear these Timberland Pro shoes on the summer too-I don't think they will be too hot. I have a weak ankle and these offer terrific support through all kinds of terrain. They are extremely well made and I believe that I will be hiking for years and miles to come!!
