Amazing Value...

These pants are truely the best. I work in Washcoat Batching, and often get quite dirty. The pants always wash out clean, and look great. I've alway's been a carhartt fan, but has since added these pants to my workwear. I would most definatly recommened these pants to anyone. Comfort, Value, It's all there.

If I could give 10 stars, I would....

If I could give 10 stars, I would. These are the toughest work pants I've ever seen, and I am very hard on pants.
I am a cabinet maker and do a lot of things that are hard on standard slacks and jeans. These Dickies take it all and laugh.
The only downside is that they are, (when brand new) a bit stiff and itchy. That goes away after several washings/wearings.
Five stars, top notch, you won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend's a welder, it can get hot...

My boyfriend's a welder, it can get hot but he does need tough pants for protection. His kneecap panel caught fire..only damage was to top panel. I washed pants no unraveling nothing..takes a licking but keeps on ticking

These are the best most versatile, paints i have used. I work in the harshest conditions, with seasons of logging work. On top of that, if I've got a date I can wear them out on the town. Best feature is they have room in the legs for easy movement. I've worn all others, Carhartt, Big Smith, Key, etc...these are the best.

As a cable field worker these pants allow...

As a cable field worker these pants allow me to move around and have great padding on the knees. I use the cell phone pocket to carrry my keys and I always look neat with the permanent crease in them. These babies not only look great but they are tough.

Will I want you all to know that...

Will I want you all to know that now the youth are selecting Dickies work pants for school uniforms. And they look great with the Polo shirts. I have 3 sons in Prince Georges Maryland Public schools Elm, Med and High Schools. I love the look the work pants give my sons, they look very neat and I love the way they look when they leave for school.

Holds up at 500 degrees...

I wear these every shift at the fire house. They go bare on all EMS runs, and are always under my turnout gear when at a fire scene. Comfortable for over 24 hours straight, and they hold up to tons of wear and tear, but stay comfortable at the same time. I would recommend these to anyone in any type of work.

I have only to say that these are the best work pants I've ever worn. They have room and comfort and durability beyond any other brand I've worn! And the side pocket for the cell phone is a geek bonus. Holds a cell phone without it falling out even in a full run.

pro: well constructed, super strong seams and material, very little if any fade after many washes,i I think these pants are going to last me a long time unlike my Carharts.
cons: shallow pockets, when I lay down to make repairs the contents of my pockets all come out.

I'm a Marine mechanic and Dickies have always been my choice for the dirty and sometimes dangerous work in the engine compartment of a boat. They stand up to pretty much anything you can throw at them including battery acid.
The double knee is a real plus because that is the part I always seem to wear out first.
