I bought an 8040-BK-M10 in April of 2001....

I bought an 8040-BK-M10 in April of 2001. I am very pleased with it, but I"ve been trying to find another lens for it, cause mine has gotten scratched up. Please help me find out where i can find this lens and cover.

Very bright...

This Pelican Black Knight M10 flashlight, modle 8040, is one of the brightest I have used. Although my needs aren't particularly extreme, this light has worked very well for me.
The beam is bright enough that I am able to see through smoke (for example when camping/grilling in the dark). Overall, the construction also seems very sturdy. I have dropped the flashlight a couple of times and besides a bit of light chipping/scratching of the paint I haven't noticed any structural issues with the body of the flashlight itself. I can't speak to the durability of the lens since I have been fortunate to not have had dropped it directly.
