An excellent fitting boot, easy to break in....

An excellent fitting boot, easy to break in. I recommend wearing cushioned insoles to reduce fatigue. Downside was that the laces broke after one months wear. I highly recommend.

My company buys me work boots each year...
By: Ron Russell
My company buys me work boots each year, so I ordered these in 11.5 M, based on their handsome appearance and positive reviews.
Delivery was very quick, good customer service on the part of Workingperson.com
Initial impressions of the boots were positive, with good ankle and arch support, and a nicely padded tongue.
After a while, I noted that the toes seem to run just slightly narrower than the 11.5 D steel toe boots I have worn from Carhartt and Georgia.
The difference in width was subtle, so I didn't really notice for several weeks, until I began to get a callus on the side of my right big toe where the edge of the steel toe cap pressed against it.
Of course, by then the boots were scuffed and dirty, so I could not in good conscience ask for a return/exchange.
I think they may have been ok if I had ordered an 11.5 W.
Until it's time for the company to buy me another pair of boots, I've gone back to wearing my old Carhartts, and the callus has gone away all by itself.
At this point, I'm undecided if I'll try a wider pair of these, or something else.

I have had a couple pair of these...
By: g. mercer
I have had a couple pair of these boots. The black ones are a better quality leather, as a field mechanic by trade they are very comfortable, the only problem I have had is the toe wears through and then your feet are wet. Overall it's a good boot but needs a stronger leather or rubber over the toe. The brown leather boot is suede and not good for working outside.
