What's the deal with no half size? I ordered them anyway and just got the 1/2 larger. They fit great! Look great!

These boots are a classic...

These boots take a while to break in, but once I did, they became a favorite. They're super comfortable and look great with either work clothes or with a casual outfit. Dr. Martens is no longer made in England and since that time the quality has declined a bit. Nevertheless, they take can take a lot of abuse. Since the transfer to overseas production, I've chosen to size down to an 11 instead of up to a 12 (I'm an 11.5)

Best boots I have ever worn....

Doc Martens airware work boots (R11822006) are a back saver to me! I have a bad back. My job (construction) commands alot of walking, bending and kneeling. I have worn every boot made from Red Wings to Sears to Durashocks; the list is endless. I went shopping for some new boots 8 months ago and came across the Dr. Marten Airware boots. I must say they break in easy. Less than a week. I can walk all day in them. Plenty of cushion for my back and knees. I don't feel so tired at the end of my shift anymore. The only change I would make to the boot; is the seal between the sole and upper boot. I have noticed that in wet weather my socks do get damp. I will be buying more of these boots. Great boot.

Affordable work boots...

These work boots from Dr. Martens are great if you need boots on a budget. However, if you can afford it, I would invest a bit more for made in America brands such as Chippewa or Thorogood. These Dr. Martens boots are comfortable for work and sleek enough to wear casually. Also, the sole has decent traction to wear in the rain and snow, but make sure you waterproof the boots with Obenauf’s or Sno-Seal to protect the leather and to prevent your feet from getting wet. One downfall of these work boots is the sizing as the manufacturer makes neither wide nor half sizes, so you will have to size up if you are between sizes and/or have wide feet (after accounting for the UK to US shoe size conversion of course). All in all, while these boots aren’t Red Wing quality, but they do offer great value for the price.

Great Pair of Boots...3rd Pair!...

I've been wearing this style of Doc Maften boots for over 8 years.
This is my 3rd pair of Doc's in this style.
I wear a mens 9.5 (US) and ordered a UK 9 which equals a mens (US 10) and they fit just fine (Ihave a wide feet).
You will LOVE these boots, takes a few wears to break them in but once broken in they are like wearing no shoes!
1st time ordering from this site and the price is RIGHT...will be ordering from this site from now on when it's time for another pair!

Cheap and Good...

I go for Dr Martens airware work boots R11822006. If you need a cheap pair of boots to wear and beat up, Doc Martins are the boots for you. They're low enough in price to buy relatively on a whim and wear in situations when you wouldn't want to dirty your dress boots. Yet for the price, their quality is superb, the construction of these boots is solid and my pair lasted me easily over three years. The boots themselves look fairly aesthetically pleasing and they are very nice in construction. The material isn't top notch but what do you expect for the price.
