I was concerned, but these are great work boots...
By: Steve
After wearing minalist shoes all summer i was looking for a boot that would not make me loose the muscles i developed in my feet over winter. That was when i remembered an old pair of docs I had in the 90s. These boots are made in Vietnam and i was really concerned about buying docs with all the bad press. However, working persons guarantee was enough for me and I am glad I gave them a chance. These boots are the classic docs i remember from my youth and were they ever stiff to begin with. I lathered the boots down with baby oil externally and wore them for a week. They were still rough on my feet so I lathered the inside of the boot with baby oil and took my tandy leather rawhide mallet to the inside of the boots and now they are like walking on a dream. The leather is breaking in well shows no sign of cracking as some people have complained of. I love these boots thanks working persons store.

I don't wear these Doc Martens as work boots, but I do wear them every chance I get when I'm not working. They look and feel great. I love this brand. I have a few different pairs of boots from Doc Martens and I also have some sandals.

No lining in these, just leather, a bouncing...
By: C Williams
No lining in these, just leather, a bouncing sole, and a steel toe. I bought mine back in 2001. Not a work boot anymore, but there are only two things wrong after all this time: a small hole behind the steel toe (from where the toes bend) and maybe a small hole in the sole. Still plenty of wear in them, just change the insoles out every so often.
