Rockport RK6501 Men's Water-Resistant Plain Toe Oxford Shoes have a glossy, professional exterior. They're slick, they're shiny, they look like the kind of shoes you have to save for church. But they're made for the toughest environments. . .even your workplace.
The low-cut, glossy exterior is made with black leather. The stretchy, soft leather gently conforms to steps, but it's no pushover in bad weather. Leather is naturally durable and weather-resistant, and in these shoes it's waterproof to keep you dry.
Inside, abrasion-resistant nylon mesh fabric completely lines the inside of each shoe. The material wicks moisture and sweat away from feet to keep skin dryer and healthier. Rockport's dynamic suspension insoles are designed to keep a pocket of air right underneath your feet. The core of air moves with feet, keeping every footfall well-cushioned against impact. Lightweight EVA foam in the midsoles adds more lightweight impact-resistance.
Hydro-shield water-resistant seam-sealed construction joins the rubber soles to the leather in a tough, weather-resistant bond. The shock-resistant rubber is oil-, abrasion- and heat-resistant, to stand up to corrosive chemicals and other workplace hazards. Slip-resistance keeps the tread stable, even on wet floors. Pigskin heel counters add more anti-slip protection.
