Rockport Works Boots: Women's Composite Toe RK664 EH Non Metal Work Boots
Unless you're actually royalty, you probably have to worry about money. That means going to work every day, and working hard so you can keep making that money. And when you work hard, you need work boots that can work even harder...something like these Rockport Works RK664 Women's Brown 6-Inch Waterproof Non-Metallic Composite Toe EH Boots.
The dark brown uppers of these Rockport boots are made with tumbled, full-grain leather. Natural full-grain leather is made from whole hide, so you get all the best features of the material. This leather is resilient, tough, and waterproof to protect you from the elements. But full-grain’s real strength is in its softness: the material of these EH boots is flexible so it stays comfortable around every step. The tumbled grain creates a slightly textured finish.
The 6-inch uppers of these women's boots aren't just made with leather, they're lined for comfort. Hydro-Defense waterproof booties completely block moisture to keep you dry when you wear these composite toe boots. Abrasion-resistant nylon mesh material gently wicks moisture away from your feet, so even sweat is well-managed. Use the lace-to-toe design to get a perfect fit and these safety toe boots will work to keep you perfectly comfortable.
Speaking of comfort, these non-metal boots are fitted with EVA cushion inserts. Soft EVA foam is lightweight and airy, and in these work boots it’s made with Adiprene shock-absorbing pads. Adidas Adriprene in the heel and rebounding forepart soak up impact when you step down, so your feet and legs feel much less of that jarring shock.
A dual-density outsole design adds double shock-resistance to the design of these Rockport boots. The polyurethane midsoles and rubber traction bottoms are directly attached to the leather uppers. Shock-resistant polyurethane is lighter in weight than rubber, and made for absorbing impact. Bouncy, durable rubber helps you spring back every time you step down while wearing these brown boots. More Adiprene shock-absorbing pads are integrated into the two-layer sole design. Thanks to the direct-attach construction, the soles are well-secured to the uppers in a firm, stable bond.
Extra-wide toes create plenty of room for the protective composite toe caps. The composite toes are part of the 100% non-metallic design of these Rockport boots. No metal means these women's boots are security-friendly. The composite toes means your feet will be well-protected against impact and compression. In fact, they meet ASTM F2413-05 standards for resistance to impact and compression. It’s the same standard steel toe caps meet, but composite is much lighter in weight and safer than steel. Composite won’t conduct temperature or electricity, the way steel will.
Get ready to work hard with these Rockport Works RK664 Women's Brown 6-Inch Non-Metallic Composite Toe EH Waterproof Boots. Wear these and make your work and your life just a bit easier!
I'm an electrician and walking around on concrete, rebar, and dirt/sand all day long, so I beat the crap out of my work boots. Rockport boots only last me about one year (I'm currently wearing this particular style). I'm back to buy my third pair, because they're incredibly comfortable right out of the box until the day they start falling apart. On my current pair, the insoles are coming apart, the soles are destroyed, the stitching is breaking, but the boots are still comfortable. Being on my feet all day, comfort is priceless.
I wear the wide toe which is another thing I like about this boot. I tried the Timberland work boot and the Dr. Martens, but both were too narrow.
