Rockport Works Shoes: Women's RK673 Tan Steel Toe ESD Slip-On Boat Shoes
Stylish and trendy, these Rockport Works Women’s RK673 Steel Toe ESD Slip-On Boat Shoes are the boat shoes Ginger from Gilligan’s Island should have worn before stepping foot on the S.S. Minnow. These steel toe boat shoes are not only protective and loaded with essential safety features, they’re stylish, too. A lot of boat shoes look like they’re made for men only. Make no mistake, these safety toe shoes are built for a woman’s foot.
Whether you own a yacht or a two-person fishing boat, Rockport Works shoes are the ones to wear before heading out for an afternoon at sea. Slip-on style makes them easy to get in and out of. No laces to deal with and no laces to trip you up when they come undone. Moisture-wicking nylon mesh keeps these steel toe shoes drier in wet conditions since they wick sweat and moisture away from your skin.
Slip-resistance is a must when it comes to work shoes. The rubber outsoles on these Rockport Works shoes are specially designed to give you much needed traction on the wet wood of boat decks and docks.
For your comfort, the removable EVA cushion insert provides comfort you can count on. Your feet will be treated to a layer of softness. Remove the insert inside these steel toe shoes when you want to wash it or help it to dry out after a wet day at sea. The dual-density EVA cushion midsole adds another impressive layer of pillow-like comfort.
The waves might have you and your boat rocking around, but your feet will stay firmly stabilized in these slip-on shoes thanks to the heel stabilizer cups. These stabilizer cups keep your stride steady and better supported.
In addition to good looks and comfort, these women's work shoes are rated for static dissipating resistance. The ESD shoes are used in areas where the generation of static electricity could harm sensitive electrical equipment or ignite flammable materials. They also have ASTM-approved steel toes to guard feet against harmful impact and compression. Because dropping a bucket full of sea water and fish is no fun.
If you’re anything like Ginger from Gilligan’s Island, you definitely love your heels. Wear your heels all you want on dry land. When you’re out on your boat, trust your feet to a pair of Rockport Works Women’s RK673 Steel Toe ESD Slip-On Boat Shoes.

Great looking shoes...
I wanted a casual yet slightly dressier looking shoe, one that I could even wear with shorts or a skirt, so I wanted to give these a try. These Rockport shoes are really great looking, but unfortunately they didn't fit right. I’m normally a 7.5 – 8 regular width. Even though the size 8 was too big, I still felt the steel plate. I tried the 7.5 wide, but it is too wide and I can still feel the plate. I really wanted these shoes to fit because I definitely like them. They are high-quality, the leather is beautiful, the stitching is excellent, and I like the contrast of the tan with the white accent. The plate may not be an issue to others, so I think it is worth a try for someone looking for this type of shoe. Ordering has been easy, and free shipping is also great!
