Do you know how healthy your feet are? Do you have bunions, fungus, pained arches? Rocky S2V 101 Desert Tan Vented Military Duty Boots are made to prevent all of that, and a whole lot more. They were designed with soldiers in mind, to be worn by all hard workers who want healthy feet.
The military-style uppers are made with desert tan nylon panels. The 1000 denier Cordura nylon is breathable and abrasion-resistant, surrounding feet in ventilating comfort so you'll stay cool. The nylon is coated with PTFE, a synthetic polymer, for flame-resistance.
Tough leather uppers built around the nylon panels give feet flexible strength. The leather is water- and flame-resistant, protecting your feet from intense weather conditions. These boots are made with integrated drainage vents, so water is channeled away and debris is kept out of the inside of your boots. Stretchy Lycra spandex was used to make the snug tongues that complete the secure fit.
Dri-Lex lining surrounds the inside of each boot, giving skin moisture-wicking comfort so feet stay dryer. The lining is treated with an Aegis microbe shield to prevent bacterial and fungal growth that might cause odor, not to mention rot and other foot problems.
Cushioning footbeds soften steps, while PU midsoles provide support. The lightweight, impact-resistant polyurethane supports and absorbs, so feet spring back from every step.
High-walled Vibram soles with SuperFabric instep panels prevent rope burn and give you a stable foundation through every step. And they'll probably hold up 2 to 3 years with regular use. They are standard issue for Pararescue and Combat Control in the Air Force, after all. Which doesn't say much about the Air Force. But we can't all be manly men ;)
As far as regulations go, I took these to Air Assault School in 2006 and it wasn't a problem. Army rules, check if you're a different service.
Oh, and the soles aren't replaceable.
