We've all seen those infomercials where someone holds up a scary-looking butcher's knife, then uses the blade to whack through cast-iron pipes and copper pennies. But, let's be serious - when was the last time you had to cut through a penny? This Spyderco BY03GP Cara Cara G10 Stainless Steel Blade Knife doesn't need theatrics, because you need a tool that can prove its power without burning up all your money.
A gleaming, 3.78" blade made with 8Cr13MoV stainless steel gives you all the cutting power you need. And this is a rust-resistant material that's known for durability and long wear. A notched thumb rasp helps you maintain cutting control, because you can't afford to let your knife slip when you're cutting through all those pesky cast-iron pipes - or anything else.
The comet-shaped hole on the handle gives you one-handed opening whether you use your left or your right, and the 4 3/4" handle is just the right size to fit in the palm of your hand. The black handle is made with stainless steel, an ergonomic design for superior grip. And don't worry - the David Boye Dent on the handle lets you grip tightly, without accidentally releasing the blade's lock.
Only 8 5/8" in overall length, this lightweight knife weighs 5.6 ounces and comes with a pocket clip for easy storage. You don't need melodrama and fancy presentations - you need a tool that stays tough while you handle day-to-day tasks. You need the Spyderco BY03GP Cara.
I am a State Trooper, and carry it on duty every day. I would have given it 5 stars but it’s not due to the quality of the knife but the misconception of the clip. It is not a black clip (which I wanted to blend with my uniform pants) it is silver. Once I opened it I was disappointed about the color of the clip but once I held it in my hand and opened it a few times, there was no way I was going to return it. Great knife!

It is hard to choose the knife you want when there are so many choices, but I am glad I chose this one. It has a wonderful grip and feel. A very nice knife for sure.
