Pocket knives are another one of your favorites. Your only complaint with this miniature tool is that the cutting power isn't always as handy as the design. We'd like to recommend the Spyderco BY15P ByrdRench Multi-Tool as a great piece for compact handiness combined with strong cutting power.
This mini knife is compact in size but features a full size 2.5-inch blade. The blade is crafted from high performing 8Cr13MoV steel and offers a smooth plain, cutting edge. The unique ByrdRench design also features one-handed opening and closing and a locking mechanism that locks the blade in place to help prevent mishaps and keep you in control. The handy pocket clip and nylon sheath make it easy to tote the knife on a belt loop or in your pocket.
This stainless steel tool features two halves with slip joint pliers on one end and a crescent wrench on the other. Both the pliers and wrench are designed with contoured edges to prevent finger pinching. Inside the tool you'll find four screwdriver bits which include A#2 and #3 Phillips-head bits and #1 and #2 flat-head bits. But if you need to customize your bits to fit an alternate screwdriver design, the bit housing will easily store any standard ΒΌ-inch bit. Above the bit housing you'll find a rough file combination hole-starter to make driving in nails or screws a little easier.
The tool also features a pivot and lock system that locks the two halves of the tool into a full-length screwdriver or crescent wrench. The pivot can be used to separate the full-length version into separate pieces so you can use screwdriver and wrench simultaneously or independently from the multi-tool housing.
