The Spyderco C122GS is assembled with screws. Spyderco uses phosphor bronze washers in this knife which acts like a liquid lubricant would work so the opening and closing of the blade will always be smooth. Inside, the the steel handle liners are hollowed to reduce buld and weight without sacrificing strength. This knife weighs 4 ounces. The overall length of the Spyderco C122 is 7 3/4 inches open and 4 7/16 inches closed. The blade length is 3 3/8 inches.
The blade steel is solid and will retain a sharp edge. Be sure to oil this blade periodically to prevent the appearance of rust.
