This colorful Spyderco C28YL2 Yellow Dragonfly 2 Salt Plain Pin Knife has a curved handle, an arrowhead-like blade and a unique design that allows you to perform cutting tasks from many different angles. It would be nice if everything was straightforward and simple, but you've got to twist your wrist a little just to cut open a package. This folding knife is designed to give you leverage from multiple areas.
The curved, ergonomic handle is made with a spine cusp that gives you cutting control. The handle is FRN, fiberglass-reinforced nylon, made with molded Bi-Directional Texturing that gives you a good grip from multiple angles.
Textured jimping on the choil, spine and screw-together area of the handle create a rough pattern that won't easily slip against skin, even sweaty skin. The bright, marine yellow color adds visibility and eye-catching style.
Access the blade through an enlarged round opening hole. The straight, plain edge blade is 2.25 inches long, a perfect length for a wide variety of cutting and dicing tasks. Overall, this knife is just over 5.5 inches long when fully opened. It closes up to a short 3.3 inches.
The H-1 steel blade, less than an inch thick, is resistant to corrosion and rust. Use it as much as you like, H-1 steel will maintain its strength and integrity.
