I love the cap first off. It's extremely convenient and easy to use. So far I have not had any issues with it leaking or spilling. I would be careful not to just throw it in a bag or backpack though. Given how easy it is to use, it's definitely possible that a book or laptop could push the lid open just enough that some water would leak.
I'd definitely recommend this bottle, Stanley products are made really well, this is going to late me a long time!
