I've had this Streamlight flashlight for years now, and while it hasn't failed me, . What I like about it is its simplicity, its sturdiness, the tough-as-nails casing, and the tilt head design that allows you use it handsfree. But for a halogen light, it's relatively dim, and the lens cover is pretty susceptible to scratches, unlike the rest of the casing. I'd like to be able to just throw it in the back of my cab, and to be able to put tool bags on top without worrying about the tools scratching up the plastic lens. Maybe a glass, resin plastic, or an acetate would be a better substitute for the material. Also, it's 2013. The halogen needs to be replaced by LED. If and when this light breaks, there's a very good chance i'd pick up another one exactly the same, but I do feel an update in technology is due. Hopefully, by the time I need a replacement Streamlight would wise up and update their flagship light.
