The sand-colored body is made with lightweight, corrosion-resisting Nitrolon, a material used by SureFire to give you long-lasting durability. Nitrolon is an impact-resistant polymer that's been glass-filled for abrasion-resistance even at high temperatures. In other words, this light is going to last, and it's been made for strength. The proof isn't just in the strong casing, but the tempered Pyrex window. Pyrex is used in heat-resisting glass cookware, so you know it's the best.
The body of this flashlight has been O-ring sealed to resist the affects of weather, so you can enjoy the high-intensity incandescent light whether you're at home or in the wilderness. The tail cap switch can be lightly pressed for momentary flashes of light, or twisted to the on position for a long-lasting beam. A switch lockout keeps you from turning on your light accidentally.
