I have been an internet customer of many companies, but I have to say that my experience with The Working Person's Store has been the best I have ever encountered. About a month ago when I had a short time-frame to acquire some women's steel-toed boots, after numerous trips to many stores, I unfortunately found that such footwear is almost impossible to find, even in Metropolitan Washington/Baltimore. I was a little skeptical at first of your website, since I had never heard of it before, but you seemed to offer the widest selection and had all the brands and sizes to choose from in women's boots. With the short time-frame I had, I ordered 5 pairs, not knowing at all how the sizing ran or what the comfort of each would be. Finally, after a second order in a smaller size of the boot I liked the best, I have a wonderful pair of boots. I called into your call center today and had the pleasure of speaking with Teresa. My order had been delayed by the manufacturer. I received a prompt e-mail from your company notifying me of the delay and giving me options. I initially just said okay, I will wait for the boots. Then I thought about calling in to see what my options could be. That is when I reached Teresa. She was very friendly on the phone and quick to assist. She helped me identify what boots would work for me and gave me options to get the boots faster than I thought. She even saved me a little money on comparable boots. This was my fist purchase with your company although I will have to say I am going to start promoting your company to my family and friends. I bought a pair of the waterproof, insulated, 12 in. Georgia Boots to wear in the massive underground (UMWA) Harris coal mine in Boone Co., West Virginia. As a union fireboss, I walk at least 5 miles a night 300+ feet underground through some of the worst conditions anywhere. After 27 years and at 4 different Eastern Coal Corp. mines, these are the best boots I've ever worn. Thanks for making my job more bearable and comfortable, as comfort is a hard thing to find in coal mining.

She is a very strong asset to your company as she is the first impression of the company for a customer. She did an excellent job in answering my concerns and helping me figure out the best way to handle the problem. Second, but not least, is another young lady in your return goods department. She is a breath of fresh air for a customer to deal with. She is heading up things so I get my replacement coat in time for my trip.

Being big, it's hard to find things that fit. I prefer American made products like the new balance shoes, and I thank you for offering American Made products. The Riggs jeans, Dickies shirts, and the new balance shoes I ordered today, all fit very well and I'm very pleased.
Note, I also ordered a Dickies jacket recently that did not fit around the waist (wasn't even close) and wasn't long enough to reach my belt line. Defect or incorrect size marking, I don't know, but we returned it, and ordered another brand jacket today.
Your service and return policy is the best and was very helpful, especially when I tried several types of work boots last year before you found me one that fit.

I just wanted to get back to you folks and tell you how pleased I was with the service (and respect) I recieved from the Customer Service Agent who took and placed my order. It is now the riding season and Engineer style MC's are becoming more and more difficult to come by. Your Customer Service Agent was patient and kind to me. She researched the actual boot itself and compaired it to another very similar model. She then researched warehouse inventory and availability, as well as investigating how the sizes worked for that particular boot manufacturer. The information she provided me helped me to make - what I now consider - to be a very sound size decision. Great job!!!!!!! I look forward to getting my new boots.

What I forgot to talk about was the black suspenders from a much earlier order. My son has needed them and has been watching for days for them to arrive. He is a young plumber crawling around in tight dirty places, and with a belt, is having to ''pull up his britches all the time''. Plus, the belt is very uncomfortable. Thanks for the response. I wanted to let you know how thrilled we were to discover that someone actually carried pants in our 13 year olds size! He attends a school that requires navy uniform pants and he had outgrown anything we could find locally. Apparently a 29 X 34 isn't a very popular size ... LOL ... and given that he will still need the navy pants next year and has been growning at a rate of an inch every two months we decided to size up. You had that size also!

I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company. I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
