Of course, the new kids in the office mispronounce the name. It’s not pronounced “Tee vah,” it’s supposed to be “Teh vah.” The kids were surprised when we told them that Tevas were first created 25 years ago. That’s longer than most of these kids have been around. Yes, some of us have Tevas that are older than our fellow employees. They’re in better shape, too.
Those of us who are more “vintage” remember our first pair, and to be honest, most of us still wear them. They're the ultimate in comfort. At least we agree with the kids about that. It’s because of the mush footbed that molds to your feet. It's made of EVA, a soft, light and flexible foam. And the unusual strapping helps, too.
